In 2018, Eslite, the well-known Taiwanese book store, orchestrated a captivating painting and illustration exhibition in Hong Kong as part of their Christmas event. The exhibition featured the works of internationally acclaimed illustrator and picture book writer, Mr. Jimmy Liao. Taking place at both Hysan Place and Lee Gardens, the exhibition showcased the enchanting artistry and storytelling of Mr. Jimmy Liao. RAAW Studio had the privilege of designing the entire exhibition, as well as a delightful cafe and a charming souvenir shop, creating a truly immersive and unforgettable experience for visitors.
In the exhibition, we bring Mr. Jimmy Liao's stories to life through immersive and visually captivating design elements. Inspired by his narratives, visitors will be transported into the enchanting world of his illustrations, evoking a sense of wonder and emotion. It will be a truly immersive journey into Jimmy's imaginative realm, where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the magic of his storytelling.
